'Skill Up Academy', a B4Students Project Connecting Youth to Success

Mane Foundation continues to contribute to education, aiming to prepare a motivated generation for the challenges of the future. Through B4Students program and its winning project, "Skill Up Academy," a series of meetings are being held with prominent public figures, offering students the opportunity to engage in fruitful discussions and learn from personal experiences that serve as exemplary success stories. "Skill Up Academy" is open to all students, regardless of their academic field, with the goal of developing life skills and creating new opportunities for young people.

The most recent activity was led by politician and lecturer Grida Duma, who addressed the topic “Mindset” as the key to opening many doors in life. With over 380 students attending the session at the University of Medicine, Duma shared her experiences and encouraged an open discussion about the impact of mindset on achieving personal and professional goals. Participants showed great interest in learning how to develop the right mindset to overcome obstacles in their lives.

A few days earlier, “Skill Up Academy” organized another event focusing on “The Logic of Money,” with lecturer and young researcher Igli Tola, who approached financial practices from a fresh perspective.

The inaugural event of “Skill Up Academy” was led by renowned journalist Marin Mema, who spoke on the theme “The Leader of the Future.” During this session, discussions centered on how leadership can shape the world of tomorrow and how young people can prepare to lead with impact. Participants were eager to better understand the traits and strategies of successful leaders.

“Skill Up Academy” aligns with the mission of B4Students to empower student-led social projects. It was created by students Armelda Ago, Armando Lekaj, and Esmeralda Sherifi, aiming to provide essential life skills and practical knowledge for students, preparing them for success in today’s fast-paced and dynamic world.

The activities of “Skill Up Academy” include organizing discussions on important topics for students’ education and overall development, such as “Emotional Intelligence” and “Work-Life Balance,” in addition to the previously mentioned themes.

“Skill Up Academy” is the fifth initiative supported and funded by B4Students.
