Greek authorities have seized an additional 26 kilograms of cocaine from a property linked to Albanian national Lulëzim Caka, police sources told Top Channel.

According to the sources, the cocaine was hidden in an apartment next to the property where police detained Caka on September 9.

The latest seizure brings the total amount of cocaine recovered from the property and warehouses allegedly used by the group to 110 kilograms.

Authorities initially believed that 84 kilograms had been seized during the September 9 operation. However, information reportedly obtained with the assistance of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) indicated that an additional 26 kilograms were being held by Caka and his associates.

The additional cocaine is suspected to have remained hidden at the property following an earlier shipment allegedly brought into Greece from Latin America concealed inside a cargo of roses.

The discovery prompted Greek authorities to launch a follow-up operation targeting the suspected storage location, according to Top Channel correspondent Artur Bibe.

Investigators are continuing to examine the group's alleged links to international cocaine trafficking and the origin of the shipments.
