39 Security Cameras of Criminal Groups Seized in Korca
39 cameras have been confiscated by the police in Korça and Pogradec, after they were installed illegally to control the movements of the police, for criminal purposes.
As a result of this action, nine people were prosecuted on their own recognizance: Zamir Muslli, Albina Qiraxhi, Gentian Çipi, Romeo Staravecka, Arben Berberi, Nevrus Llapushi, Gjergji Romaçka, Petrit Bregu, Marius Dvorani.
Some of them are already known by the justice authorities: Romeo Staravecka for "Production and sale of narcotics"; Nevrus Llapushi, the father of Erion Llapushi, a highly dangerous person declared wanted for the murder of a person in Elbasan; Gjergji Romaçka, father of Ligor Romaçka, convicted of "Trafficking in narcotics"; Marius Dvorani, the son of a person with a previous criminal record.
The materials were passed to the prosecutor's offices of the judicial districts of Korçë and Pogradec, for further actions. This is the fifth phase of this operation to crack down on security cameras placed by criminal groups throughout Albania. It started in Shkodra, where the action was carried out in two phases, to continue in Vlora, Durres, and Korca, while the police warned the same actions to continue even in other districts.
