The number of the persons infected with the West Nile Fever in Albania went up to 58.

The Public Health Institute confirmed Thursday that all the patients infected were in some districts of the country as Kurbin, Fier and Lushnje.

"Since the appearance of this disease in Albania and so far, the Public Health Institute has reported three deaths. But in 80% of cases, this disease shows no symptoms, while only 1% of affected cases can show serious diseases of the nervous system such as meningitis or encephalitis, the rest show fever, headache, vomiting or muscle weakness symptoms similar to those of a flu," says this institute.
