Acting Head of OSCE Meets Meta: Judiciary Doesn't Take Orders from Anyone

The Acting Head of OSCE Presence in Albania Clarisse Pastory had a meeting Friday with the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta.

In a short message in X, Pastory said that discussed priorities under electoral reform completing rounds of meetings that she had with political parties on this subject.

"I also took the opportunity to address recent comments judiciary reform in Albania. I expressed the OSCE presence in Albania support for the Special Prosecution against Corruption. The judiciary is independent and doesn't take orders from anyone," said Pastory.
