Agricultural Exports up by 44.5% in Quantity, 17.8% in Value

Policies in support of agriculture and direct subsidies to farmers have increased investments in agriculture, domestic production, and exports, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj said on Thursday.

Referring to official statistics, Minister Denaj announced that "agricultural exports during November 2024 reached an amount of 44,595 tons, with a value of Lek 5.39 billion".

Improving the quality and standards of Albanian products has steadily increased their presence in international markets.

Denaj said that "the positive performance of the sector, with an increase of 44.5% in quantity and 17.8% in value compared to November 2023, shows the work and effort of our farmers for the recognition of the "Made in Albania" brand in international markets".

According to her, the government will continue supporting policies for all working people, towards the goal of Dollar 1 billion in agricultural exports by 2030.
