For the first time in Albania the diaspora voted. The Central Elections Commission (CEC) informed that 78% of the Albanians in diaspora registered to vote in this electoral process, used their right to vote.

As the plane with the last envelopes arrived, CEC informed that 191912 votes arrived from a total of 245935 registered.

The results on how emigrants voted will be made public on Monday.
