Albania registered on Wednesday three victims due to Covid-19 as 571 citizens have tested positive in the last 24 hours. Health Ministry urged to everyone to get the Covid-19 jab as the virus remain a threat to every citizen. 

We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 

4132 tests were performed, of which 571 citizens tested positive for COVID-19 in the following municipalities: 
277 in Tirana, 27 in Fier, 21 in Berat, out of 20 citizens in Kamza, Vlora, 16 in Gjirokastra, 15 in Saranda, out of 14 citizens in Durres, Korca, Elbasan, 12 in Patos, out of 10 citizens in Lezha, Lushnje, 8 in Shkodra, from 7 citizens in Kavaja, Mat, 6 in Mirdita, from 5 citizens in Kruja, Mallakastër, Tepelena, Kuçovë, 4 in Vora, from 3 citizens in Librazhd, Gramsh, Belsh, Cërrik, Dimal, Përmet, Dropull, Kurbin, Tropoja, by 2 citizens in Kukës, Memaliaj, Skrapar, Poliçan, by 1 citizen in Kolonjë, Devoll, Pogradec, Këlcyrë, Libohovë, Delvinë, Himara, Selenica, Roskovec, Dibër, Rrogozhinë, Has, Puka, Vau i Dejës. There are 7,763 active COVID-19 patients nationwide. 

Currently 170 patients are receiving treatment in COVID hospitals, of which 14 are in the most serious condition. Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours there are 3 lives lost with Sars-Cov2 positive: a citizen from Berat 64 years old, a citizen from Elbani 77 years old, a citizen from Memaliaj 86 years old. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families. 

639 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 176,090 since the beginning of the epidemic.
