Albania has declared two days of national mourning in honor of the figure of the giant of Albanian literature, Ismail Kadare. 

Government decided to declare Tuesday and Wednesday as mourning days while the ceremony to honor the renowned poet will be held in the National Theatre of Opera.

The flags will be half mast in all the state institutions as the mortuary ceremony will be held on Wednesday from 09:00 am to 11 and from 11:30 to 12:30.

At 13:00, will be held a minute of silence.
