Albania Launches Special Task Force to Prepare for 2027 NATO Summit in Tirana

Albania is taking a major step in preparing to host the 2027 NATO Summit with the establishment of a dedicated Host Nation Task Force (HNTF) and a National Organizing Team, approved today by the Council of Ministers.

The new structure will coordinate and oversee all preparations for the historic event, ensuring that Tirana is ready to meet the highest international standards. The Task Force will be chaired by the Prime Minister, or in his absence, by a National Coordinator appointed directly by him.

Comprised of senior government officials, security leaders, and key state administrators, the Task Force will bring together top-level expertise from across the government, uniting efforts to guarantee the summit’s smooth organization.
