COVID-19 figures are increasing in Albania, where in the last 24 hours, 228 new cases and 5 losses of life have been registered. Currently, 148 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals, of which 14 are in the most serious condition. 

We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 1513 tests were performed, of which 228 citizens tested positive for COVID19 in the following municipalities: 110 in Tirana, 10 in Fier, from 9 citizens in Vlora, Saranda, Berat, from 8 citizens in Mallakastër, Lushnje, Durrës, from 6 citizens in Shkodër, Kavaja, Tepelena, from 5 citizens in Elbasan, Gjirokastër, 4 in Skrapar, from 3 citizens in Përmet, Divjakë, from 2 citizens in Vau i Dejës, Lezhë, Kamëz, Korçë, Dimal, Gramsh, from 1 citizen in Kuçovë, Dibër, Krujë, Kurbin, Kukës, Has, Malësi e Madhe. There are 6694 active COVID19 patients nationwide. 

Currently 148 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals, of which 14 are in the most serious condition. Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours there are 5 lives lost with Sars-Cov2 positive: a citizen from Fieri 38 years old, a citizen from Pogradec 70 years old, a citizen from Korça 70 years old, a citizen from Berat 85 years old, a citizen from Vlora 90 years old. 
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families. 
594 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 190,378 since the beginning of the epidemic.
