Albania vs. Italy Friendly Match to Be Played on November 16

Albania will play a friendly match with Italy on November 16 of this year.

As the president of the Italian Federation, Gabriele Gravina, announced, the month of November will bring the European champions to "Air Albania".

The break of the championships and the non-participation of both national teams in the World Cup in Qatar, has brought the space to organize this friendly meeting.

In the history of the Albanian representative, this will be the second friendly after the one in 2014, when Albania was defeated 1-0 in the 82nd minute with Stefano Okaka's goal.

But Reds and Blacks have played two other challenges with the Italian national team, valid for the qualifiers of the "Russia 2018" World Cup. These two matches ended with the victory of "Axurre", 2-0 in Italy and 0-1 in Shkodër in 2017.

Meanwhile, in November and a few days later after the match with Italy, there is also talk of a friendly meeting with Kosovo, which could take place in Germany or Switzerland, where many Albanians live, who may have the opportunity attend a friendly match.

However, until now, there is no official announcement from the Albanian Football Association. Edi Reja's team will start preparations in the middle of September, because ahead of them are two Nations League matches against Israel on the transfer on September 24 and three days later against Iceland at home.
