A 21-year-old from Bangladesh has been arrested in Kakavija this Saturday. According to police, the young man was caught helping 7 illegal immigrants. 

S.I. was caught near the village of Grapsh helping 7 illegal immigrants from third countries, to go in the direction of Tirana, for a profit of EUR 300 per person. A mobile phone was seized as material evidence. 

"Kakavija Border Police Services, in cooperation with FRONTEX services and Traffic Investigation Section in DVP Gjirokastra, arrested in flagrante delicto the foreign citizen, S.I., 21 years old, resident in Bangladesh. 

Citizen S. I. was caught near the village of Grapsh helping 7 illegal immigrants from third countries, to go in the direction of Tirana, in exchange for earning EUR 300 per person. 

A mobile phone was seized as material evidence. The materials were submitted to the Prosecutor's Office at the Gjirokastra Court of First Instance, for further action, for the criminal offense "Assistance in illegal border crossing".
