Albanian Cocaine Boss Arrested in Dubai

Eldi Dizdari, one of the cocaine leaders in Albania, was caught in Dubai, in an international anti-drug operation.

He was arrested on behalf of Interpol Tirana. Dizdari was involved in the murder that took place in in the ‘Blloku’ area on October 4, 2018.

Eldi Dizdari is the person who had a strong conflict with Ervin Mata on the evening of October 4, in front of Redi Popescu's "Monopol" bar, about half an hour before the gunfight took place inside this bar.

Eldi Dizdari is also known as Denis Matoshi and is a close cousin of Arber Çekaj, the owner of the banana company arrested in Germany for trafficking 613 kg of cocaine that was seized a few months ago in Durres.

According to the sources of the prosecution, Mata and Dizdari clashed with each other in the street, right in front of the "Monopol" restaurant. The suspicions are that Mata and Dizdari have been in a conflict over the issue of a financial debt, which was not paid by Ervin Mata.

According to the prosecution, film footage of some businesses has revealed that Dizdari was the first person to have a conflict with Ervin Mata and then left.

In the murder took place in the area of the former bllok in Tirana, on the evening of October 4, 2018, Fabjol Gaxha was shot dead, while Ervis Martinaj and Eljo Hato were injured. Gaxha is suspected of being shot dead by Ervin Mata's bodyguard, former commander Mervjol Bilo.
