An Albanian man was arrested on animal cruelty charges after witnesses say he dragged a dog to death with his car.

On Monday some photos with disturbing content showing a dog being dragged down the street behind a car went viral, prompting the immediate response of the authorities.

Albanian Police Forces in Durres have managed to identify and arred the 50-year-old driver, identified as F.P.

According to the Albanian Police in Durres, citizen, F.P, was prosecuted punished with a hefty fine.
