Albanian Notorious ‘Rambo of Thieves’ Neutralized by Italy

Italian carabinieri have arrested a 48-year-old Albanian named Zef Tirtja, as reported Wednesday. The latter is believed to be hiding behind several robberies in the Genoa area and has been living in the woods for some time.

Police have tracked down Tirtja, due to a phone call he exchanged with a friend, where he states:

"In Italy is made a lot of money by robbery, wait until I make some more, I will return to my Albania again", he has told to his friend.

Meanwhile, Tirtja is suspected of looting homes while the owners were asleep. The 48-year-old is accused of 27 thefts and recently lived in the woods. For this fact, the Italian effectives had nicknamed him "Rambo of thieves".

However, the 48-year-old Albanian was able to steal three or four houses overnight, according to the Italian media.
