Albanian Renowned Actor Dies Aged 71

The well-known actor of the "Migjeni" theater, Enver Hyseni, has passed away. The news was announced by the official website of the Migjeni Theater in Shkodër. 

"It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of the well-known actor of the theater "Migjeni", Enver Hyseni! Our sincere condolences go to the family and community of artists! The tributes will take place on October 30, from 10-12, in the lobby of the "Migeni" theater," the announcement states. 

Actor of the golden generation of the theater "Migjeni" without forgetting the participation in several films of Kinostudio's Albanian cinema. He was born in Shkodër on August 1, 1951. He studied at the University of Arts for a short period (1973-1974), interrupting his studies for economic reasons. 

In 1975, he started working at the "Migjeni" theater in Shkodër until he retired in 2016. In this forty-year period, he played more than sixty roles in the theater and four in films. He works with directors like Serafin Fanko and stands out for character roles. The typical voice and inner plasticity make an actor completely unique and interesting. His artistic profile has usually been shaped to play positive roles of rural-mountain character. 

It has created good people who have a very pure soul, are determined for what they want to do. These characters were not heroes with swords in hand. We remember Enver Hyseni in the past in the dramas "Baca e Ggetjave"; "The issue of Blerte"; or even in the TV movie "The Flame of the Mountains". He was also active in several feature films before the 90s and after the change of the system and with other roles in films, theater and various comedies. 

It is enough to mention some of them: "Morning Star"; "A story of losers or Don't spit on the ground", "The importance of being Ernesto" "The silver lamp"; "Saint John the Prime Minister"; "Mijgeni ki hurricane" (documentary); "Blood that forgives blood" (short film); "Crying in the snow" and in 2019 the actor from Shkodër went on the stage of the Experimental Theater "Kujtim Spahivogli" with the monodrama written by S. Capaliku "Dome".
