An Albanian living in Italy has been arrested by the Italian police after he was trying to transfer abroad a sum of more than EUR 320.000 divided into 38 bundles of undeclared banknotes. 

He was stopped for a routine check at one of the land border crossings with Slovenia. The money was hidden inside the vehicle in the passenger cabin. 

When asked by the officers, the Albanian said that there was nothing in the car to go to customs. But they saw his anxious behavior and decided to check the vehicle with the help of police dogs. 

During the control, they found that the Albanian had opened a part of the vehicle at the height of the pedals, where the money was hidden.
