Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has reacted to the tensions between Kosovo and Serbia, warning Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic that "Albanians will react as a single nation". 

Berisha asked him not to rely on Prime Minister Edi Rama, whom he considers a vassal of the Serbian president, stressing that "Albanians know that he is a tool of Vucic and a traitor to the nation." 

"Yesterday, the Kremlin spokesman accused Kosovo of the crisis caused by Vucic in the region, the unscrupulous manipulation of Serbian officials in Kosovo, the departure from institutions, the deployment of Serbian-Russian gangs and the introduction of weapons, all of this as a pretext for the will of the Kosovo government to apply the law on the territory of the country. It is not an easy moment for Kosovo, so I also want to express my full solidarity to the Government of Kosovo and its citizens and condemn the interference of the Kremlin and Belgrade in the internal affairs of Kosovo. What is happening is Vucic's attempt to keep Serbia in Kosovo. 

I welcome NATO's determined stance in defence of Kosovo's stability because Putin and little Putin are ready to undertake a new adventure, I emphasize that Serbia keeps the conflict hanging so that it can undertake it whenever it wants. I hope that it does not try to destabilize Kosovo because the punishment will be severe. I condemn Rama's positions that all these cyclical irritations of the situation between Serbia and Kosovo, Belgrade has directly or indirectly had Rama's support. 

Belgrade has felt more comfortable and more secure in its threats and projects because with its vassal Rama it has put Kosovo in a hostile grip, both from its north and south. 

The truth is that the current crisis in the relations between Kosovo and Serbia only seems to have the license plate problem, but in essence it is the project of greater Serbia and the ignition of the conflict in the Balkans, Rama remains a vassal of little Putin and this explains his pseudo-reaction to a not small quarrel, even this delayed pseudo-reaction. 

I want to emphasize that in any circumstance, Vucic should be clear that the Albanians will react as a nation alone, and not count anything on his vassal in Tirana, Rama, because the Albanians are clear that he represents his tool, a traitor the Albanian nation," Berisha said.
