“Abuse of office” criminal charge has caused 3 engineers of the Albanian Road Authority in Durres to end up in handcuffs. The apprehension of perpetrators was made in the framework of a big police operation initiated by the Prosecution of the coastal city and was implemented in the early hours of this Wednesday morning.

The operation in question has to do with the abuses with several tenders for road maintenance in this city, while it is suspected that the damage caused to the state amounts to 200 million old ALL. However, the operation continues at this time for the arrest of officials and other persons involved, while the names of those arrested are expected to be revealed.

Moreover, Businessman Mustafa Koka has been declared wanted by the police, while the officials of the Road Authority in Durrës have been arrested by order of the Prosecution.
