AMA Cooperation with TikTok, Krasniqi: Report Harmful Content

The Audiovisual Media Authority (AMA) has established a cooperation with the TikTok platform aimed at preventing the distribution of harmful content, such as videos that depict or incite violence of any kind, contain hate speech, violate the rights of children and communities, fundamental human rights, and more.

The news was announced by the President of AMA, Mrs.Armela Krasniqi, in a social media post where she explained that a TikTok channel is created on behalf of AMA. This channel will feature content verified by AMA teams as harmful, to be officially followed up by the platform for further action.

For this reason, a dedicated section has been established on the official AMA website, where harmful videos encountered by the public while browsing TikTok can be reported: [https://ama.gov.al/denonco-shkelje-per-tiktok/](https://ama.gov.al/denonco-shkelje-per-tiktok/).

Videos submitted through these reports will be reviewed with scrutiny by AMA teams, and any video found to violate rights and ethics shall be officially reported to the platform for necessary action.

‘Starting today, I invite you to report on the dedicated link on the official AMA website any harmful content you come across that depicts or incites violence, contains hate speech, violates children's and communities' rights,’ states Krasniqi. ‘Any content that infringes on our freedoms must be stopped. Co-regulation is now the widely accepted formula for a beneficial media market for everyone, and we can become active participants in this process.’
