Bad weather has has engulfed Albania, some areas have been under the influence of rain and some others have been affected by snowfall, which is why the Albanian Road Authority (ARA) appealed this Friday to drivers to be careful while traveling and be equipped with winter tires and chains 

Through a social networks statement, the Albanian Road Authority has announced that many roads in the north of the country have become problematic for the circulation of vehicles, due to snowfall. 

Meanwhile, on the Bogë-Theth axis in the area of the tunnels, avalanches continue, causing difficulties in circulation and clearing the road. 

"The rain has continued during the night and in the early hours of the morning 

The snowfall has started in Dardha, in Llogara, in Krujë-Sarisalltik, on the Ura e Zapodi Shishtavec at an altitude of over 700 m, where snow removal equipment has been used and traffic is carried out without problems 

On the Bogë-Theth axis in the area of the tunnels, avalanches continue, causing difficulties in traffic and clearing the road 

Contractors with tools and workers have been on the ground throughout the night to maintain normal traffic 

Take extra care when driving in rainy weather, equip yourself with winter tires and chains when traveling in mountainous areas, reduce speed, respect the traffic signs and instructions of the Traffic Police", proclaimed the ARA.
