Arben Çuko Testifies at SPAK over Deadly Protest in Boulevard
Former Socialist Member of Parliament, Arben Çuko appeared this Monday at the Special Prosecution against Corruption (SPAK).
Albaniandailynews.com learned that he testified over the '21 January' 2011 protests, where four protesters died in Boulevard.
At the end of his testimony, Çuko said that four people died and that this case must not be forgotten.
He was a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Security, Commander of the Republic Guard and adviser to the Prime Minister of Kosovo on Security.
From the deputy of the SP, Çuko took the position of General Director of Prisons in July 2017 and left this position after almost 1 year, as he was arrested for passive corruption, at the time he held the position of Director of Prisons.
