Armed Man Arrested in Tirana
Police officers of Police station number 3 in the capital have handcuffed a 40-year-old man, who was caught red-handed walking the streets of Tirana armed.
He has been identified as the 40-year-old man with the initials M.Ç., who was found a pistol with a comb and combat ammunition, as well as several different means of identification.
This operation dubbed "Chief" was organized following the work to identify and crack down on cases of illegal possession of weapons, based on the information provided through information intelligence, about a citizen who was walking around with firearms.
The 40-year-old resident of the Netherlands was caught on "Lord Byron" street. The procedural materials were passed to the prosecutor's office in Tirana and this citizen will face the criminal offense of carrying a weapon without a permit.
