Army Is Helping Vlora's Citizens with Flooding Consequences

Flood situation is improving this Sunday. All roads are passable and the water was less present. 

The Defense Ministry informed that working continues in cleaning some of the most problematic road axis and to clean the parking areas still full of water.

Some 31 soldiers with 10 vehicles are helping. 

According to the order left at the meeting of the Civil Defense Commission in the Prefecture, local structures have been contacted to identify as soon as possible the flooded area, homes, businesses, state facilities, schools, cultural facilities, health centers, roads, vehicles and any other infrastructure affected.

In cooperation with the State Reserves, 4.5 tons of foodstuffs, 1.5 tons of water and 200 liters of detergents were sent to the affected residents. The operational forces will continue their work until the situation is completely back to normal.
