The Courts of Appeal in Kosovo rejected the request of nurse Aurona Pelaj's lawyer for release from detention. Pelaj is accused of physical violence and mistreatment of the mother of the martyr Taulant Nuraj, at the Center for the Elderly in Peja. 

Also, according to Kosovo media sources, it is learned that the Court of Appeal has also rejected the request of the lawyers of two other nurses who appear in the video, for release from detention. 

We remind you that the footage caused a stir on social media and shocked the entire public opinion in Kosovo, due to the very fact that 4 nurses were involved in this event, where two were abusing the elderly woman, another was filming her and laughing all together. 

Immediately after the incident, the elderly woman's daughter decided to take her mother from the retirement home and keep her at home, which was also done by other children of the elderly in that center.
