Arsenal Team in Panic as Plane Engulfed in Flames
Arsenal women team was due to fly back from Germany to England after an away game with Wolfsburg, but a bird got into the plane's engine causing a fire.
Flames immediately erupted from the Boeing 737's left engine and the plane's pilots quickly evacuated passengers, including Arsenal's first team, to safety.
Arsenal even released a statement thanking the crew and officials:
"Our plane suffered a technical problem before departing for Germany on Sunday afternoon. As a result, we stayed in Wolfsburg on Sunday evening before flying to England on Monday afternoon. We would like to thank the staff on board and at the airport for their assistance," it was announced.
