Border police in Kukës have detained Tuesday a citizen from Kosovo who had been declared internationally wanted by Austria. The arrestee was perpetrator with initials B. S., 48 years old, resident in Kosovo, the authorities made known.

During the processing and verification of the data in the system, at the entrance of the Morina Border Crossing Point (BCP), this citizen turned out to be wanted internationally, since the Justice authorities of Austria, had issued an arrest warrant for the criminal on the offense of "Robbery".

However, the provisional arrest of the citizen Specialists of the Section for Investigation of Crimes against Person and Property in DVP Kukës, in cooperation with the Morina Border Police and Interpol Tirana, as a result of increased measures and exchange of information with Interpol Tirana.

Meanwhile, the materials were forwarded to the Kukës Judicial District Prosecutor's Office for further legal action.
