A few hours before this Monday's parliamentary session, the leader of the Democrats called a meeting of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, at a time when opposition against his way of ruling DP has increased recently. 

Sources suggest that the meeting will take place at 13:00 at the blue headquarters. Basha met with the DP group even on Sunday. Before the meeting the day before, the leader of the Democrats responded to the accusations of the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha with a strong statement, saying that his time is over and that he will not allow anyone to use the DP and its forums for the personal interests of the former prime minister. 

Basha further commented on Berisha's "Foltore" for which he said that they have turned into an oxygen tube for the regime of Edi Rama, which he intends to detach. Basha and Berisha are enemies with each other since September 9, 2021, as Lulzim Basha decided to suspend Berisha from the DP group until Berisha has clarified his situation with the US, which has declared Berisha persona non-grata.
