The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, during his visit to Lezhë, held meetings with citizens and businesses of this city, with whom he talked about the main problems they have and that expect solutions from policymaking. 

Basha has familiarized the citizens with the deep reform that the Democratic Party has proposed, where the aim is for the citizens to be decision-makers and to have their say heard. 

"Today, in Lezha, I spoke with various citizens of the city, about the economy, security and their daily life. Everyone is clear that we need a radical change in the role of politics in solving their problems. They want to be heard, they want to be involved in decision-making and for this they must have a dignified representation that is as close as possible to them and their problems. 

For this purpose, we have proposed the purification of politics through vetting, open lists to give people the freedom to choose their representatives, the equality of the vote, so that the strength of citizens is the same, regardless of the district where they live.
