The Mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci was taken officially under investigation by the Special Prosecution against Corruption (SPAK).

He appeared last Friday at SPAK where he testified for his former job at the Albanian Fond for Investment. 

Although rumours emerged that he resigned, Beci ironically said this Tuesday that this is not true.
