Berat, 3 People Charged with Environmental Crimes
Three people have been investigated by the police for environmental crimes, this Tuesday morning in Berat.
M. Sh., 53 years old, is being investigated from the blue uniforms, after it was ascertained by throwing inert into the Osum river. F. D., 38, and S. L., 30 are being watched for seizing public property and extracting decorative stones from Mount Tomor.
"The implementation of the plan of measures for the prevention and crackdown on environmental crimes, as well as illegality in the field of territorial protection continues. In the framework of the implementation of the plan of measures for the prevention and combating of environmental crimes, as well as following the control exercised for the protection of the territory, the Police services, in cooperation with IMT Berat and Skrapar, have prosecuted the citizens:
M.Sh., 53 years old, resident in the village of Selan, Skrapar, after being found in a place called "Teteren", throwing inert with a digging tool into the Osum river.
F.D., 38 years old, resident in Poliçan, because during the control exercised in the village of Bogovë, Skrapar, it turned out that he had occupied a land area and exercised commercial activity by not paying taxes, had goods without invoices and had two uninsured employees.
S. L., 30 years old, after during the control it was found that he had occupied a public land area and traded without tax invoice decorative stone tiles, which are suspected to have been extracted on Tomori Mountain.
The State Police will continue the controls for the prevention and crackdown on environmental crimes and in this context requires the cooperation of citizens to report any case of illegality," the police announce.
