In coordination with the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation specialists, Berat Prosecution Office apprehended citizen Alban Muci on charges of ‘Fraud’ and ‘Appropriating a Public Title or Office”.

According to the prosecution, the accused presented himself at the offices of Berat State Cadastral Agency (SCA), falsely claiming to be a prosecutor with the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution (SPAK). He promised to assist and intervene in resolving legal matters or issues in exchange for money.

The investigations led by the Prosecution revealed that A.M., with criminal records and previously convicted of “Appropriating a Public Title or Office” and 'Fraud,' had been illegally defrauding various individuals by impersonating a prosecutor from the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution (SPAK).

Following the investigations, A.M., aged 48 and residing in Tirana, was apprehended in flagrante delicto on charges of “Appropriating a Public Title or Office” and 'Fraud'.
