Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha says that the judicial process against MP Ervin Salianji is filled with manipulated evidence. 

In a statement to the media, he says that Salianji denounced the criminal actions of Agron Xhafaj, who carried out criminal activity from the port of Vlora with the help of Prime Minister Edi  Rama and his brother, the former Minister of Interior, Fatmir Xhafaj. 

According to Berisha, Ardi Veliu, Famziu Nushi who is under arrest, SHISH employees are implicated in this scheme against Salianji. 

"Protected by Edi Rama and his powerful brother, Fatmir Xhafaj, where the trafficker calmly continued his black work, from the port of Vlora. With total protection of the power of Edi Rama and Fatmir Xhafaj. 

Courageous journalists found through the recordings that Geron Xhafaj continued to be the traffic leader from the port of Vlora. That he was capable of supplying tons of drugs to the Italian market. 

Ervin Salianji has done nothing but denounced the non-handover to the Italian authorities of Geron Xhafaj, convicted by a final decision by the Italian court, and published the recording of the investigative journalist according to whom Geron Xhafaj led the traffic leadership.

The Babale case was made known in 2019 as Ervin Salianji denounced the brother of Fatmir Xhafaj of talking drug trafficking in a video published by Salianji. Meanwhile, the court decided that the voice didn't belong to brother of Fatmir Xhafaj, in this way sentencing Salianji to 1 year of imprisonment. This Monday, Salianji faces the court of appeals tegarding this case.
