It was Socialist Party MP Taulant Ball who asked Berisha to release the videos with which he exerts pressure.
The request of the socialists was submitted by former minister of Finance, Anila Denaj, who said that Berisha should apologize for the insults.
Berisha approached the lectern to speak, but the session was interrupted until order was established in the hall.
He later declared that he will not publish any erotic video he has on his cell phone that implicates government officials.
He said he will send those to the investigative bodies. Berisha said that he never insults a woman because he cannot behave towards them the way Edi Rama does.
"We are dealing with a very dangerous agent, a traitor to the USA, a fierce enemy of the opposition and Albanian democracy. In this case, every document that I have and will have, I will submit to the competent investigative bodies.
But again your curiosity about scenes and things, don't remember that I satisfy them, never. I have a complete censorship for every video, erotic message that comes to be published, it does not happen.
Why do you think that I will say the words that your leader says, don't ever expect him. I am Sali Berisha, I am not Edi Rama who interrupts women every time he goes to the electoral campaign. I don't do it.
I am bound to respect, whether I like it or not, I cannot publicly insult a woman. I didn't mention any names. No name. But what's up with this? Why are you trying to cover up Edi Rama's secret relationship with McGonigal? It's embarrassing. You are extremely misguided," said Berisha.
