Biden Willing to Meet Putin at G20 Summit

President of the USA, Joe Biden, has not ruled out the possibility of a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, at the G20 summit, which will be held in November, in Bali, Indonesia.

"It remains to be seen", Boden told reporters, when asked about the possibility of meeting face-to-face with the Russian president, as part of the summit.

Western media also write that if Putin participates in the summit, there should also be participation from the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, despite the fact that his country is not a member of the G20.

Joe Biden also emphasized that he will most likely have a meeting with Xi Jinping, always if the Chinese president goes to the summit.

So far, it has not yet been confirmed whether Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping will attend the G20 summit in November. The invasion of Ukraine has isolated Russia on the international stage, while China's president has restricted travel abroad due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In August, Indonesian President Joko Widodo said in an interview with Bloomberg that his Russian and Chinese counterparts would attend the summit.
