Bilgen Aldan, CEO of ALBtelecom was elected during the meeting of the General Assembly, Chairwoman of the Executive Board of the International Chamber of Commerce Albania. Appointment of Mrs. Aldan marks a historic moment for ICC Albania, becoming the first woman to chair this business organization.

Bilgen Aldan joined ALBtelecom in February 2021, following experience in industries such as telecommunications, banking and digital media in Turkey.

In her speech after the appointment, Mrs. Aldan said:

“I am very delighted and honored to be elected as Chair of the Executive Board of ICC Albania. Together with the board we will put all our energies to promote and protect businesses interests, aiming at further improving business climate and economic development of the country ".

The International Chamber of Commerce is the largest companies’ business forum and successful executives in the Albanian market and its leadership by a woman marks another progress for the contribution of women in decision-making in Albania.
