Former MP of Democratic Party, Orjola Pampuri

DP Publishes More Concerns of Quake-Affected Citizens

Democratic Party (DP) has made public this Wednesday another denunciation of the residents affected by the earthquake, whose houses have not been rebuilt yet.

Former Democrat MP, Orjola Pampuri met some residents of Bubq, who expressed concern about their situation after the devastating earthquake.

Indri Preni's family has been living in a container since November 26 last year when the earthquake severely damaged their house. His wife says that so far no one has gone to tell them what will happen to their house. But despite the trouble of the house, she says that the space that the container has is too small for 5 family members, to take care of the pandemic.

While the head of another family, Martin Jaku, revealed another problem: "In addition to the lack of help from the state, the state institutions have been an obstacle for the construction of my house, which would be reconstructed by some religious foundations, but the municipality asked fo EUR 5.000 for the construction permit."
