Cape Rodon Quarrell, Former MP Arrives to Court
Former member of parliament Mark Frroku and the other 7 arrested after the quarrel over the property at Cape Rodon have arrived at the Court to familiarize themselves with the security measure.
Arrested persons Mark Frroku, Antonio Lazari, Pal Doda, Martin Lazeri were involved in a fight with 4 residents of the village of Shetaj, Bajram Kaçuli, Ylli Reka, Erjon Reka and Orgito Reka for a property in Cape Rodoni on Sunday (October 29).
The quarrel between them started during the time when the representatives of the Catholic Church were surrounding the property for which they have a certificate of ownership.
But the residents of the village of Shetaj, have not allowed them to make this siege as they also claim to have a certificate of ownership.
Initially, they had a physical conflict, then the fight escalated into the use of hard objects and weapons.
"The conflict between these citizens has worsened with the use of hard objects, after the conflict with fists. 1 firearm cartridge was also found at the scene," the police reported.
The eight arrested persons are:
Residents of the area: Bajram Kaçuli, Ylli Reka, Erjon Reka and Orgito Reka.
Church representatives: Mark Frroku, Antonio Lazari, Pal Doda and Martin Lazeri.
