A serious incident occurred this afternoon in Cërrik, where a 64-year-old man lost his life after hitting himself with a knife. 

The police inform that in the village of Lumas, Cërrik, in the hut near the house, the citizen Xh. Sh., 64 years old, in conditions of depression, is suspected of injuring himself with a knife. He was immediately transported to the regional hospital in Elbasan but as a result of the wound he died as soon as he arrived at the Hospital. 

"Around 16:30, in the village of Lumas, Cerrik, in the hut near the apartment, citizen Xh. Sh., 64 years old, in conditions of depression, is suspected of injuring himself with a knife, who was immediately transported to the regional hospital in Elbasan but as a result of the wound, he died as soon as he arrived at the Hospital. The investigation team is at the scene and under the direction of the Elbasan Judicial District Prosecutor's Office is working to clarify the circumstances of the event", announced the Police.
