Confession of Albanian Woman's Killer in Italy Revealed
Brunilda Halla, 37 years old, of Albanian origin, was killed on a knife attack in Italy on May 25, while the perpetrator of this serious crime, a 28-year-old, was handcuffed.
During questioning, the perpetrator reportedly had "typical ups and downs of a troubled personality," and stated that he had acted as "a rebellion against Vittoria society that had marginalized him", according to Franco Vinciguerra, the 28-year-old's lawyer.
The interrogation took place in the carabinieri barracks, then the killer was sent to Ragusa prison, as he could have attacked anyone, according to investigators, did not know the woman he killed.
However, the killer was about to cross the road when he realized that Brunilda Halla had turned his back on the road and was closing the door of the house.
The man went towards her and then stabbed her 6 or 7 times repeatedly between the shoulders and neck and then walked away. He dropped his gun in a valley and went home to change his clothes.
"He accepted the facts, his responsibility for the murder. He himself asked to speak to the prosecutor to confess.
We are in the presence of a subject with proven mental problems, already a victim of deep bullying, followed by neurologists and psychiatrists. In 2016 he underwent compulsory health treatment (Tso).
"Apparently it must be an accidental murder," Ragusa's chief prosecutor, Fabio D'Anna, said in the morning, adding that "no pre-existing connection to the victim has been established."
