Counting in Nine CEAZs Ongoing, How Many Votes Candidates Have Received
Counting of votes for the candidates that were part of April 25 general elections has already been concluded in 8 constituencies of Albania, but in 4 more it is still going on this Thursday.
As announced earlier by the Chairman of the Central Elections Commission (CEC), Ilirjan Celibashi, the counting continues in 9 Commissions of Electoral Administration Zones (CEAZs) in Tirana, Lezha, Durres and Elbasan.
In Lezha, Kastriot Piroli from PD leads with 9 thousand 374 votes. Ranked fourth on the list, even though he has won the mandate he is very close to breaking the quotient. After him come Mark Marku with 5 thousand 321 votes, Agron Gjekmarkaj with 4 thousand 67 votes and Lindita Metaliaj with 2 thousand 328 votes.
From the Socialist Party, Eduard Ndreca leads with 7,250 votes, followed by Lindita Nikolla with 5,145 votes. Third Shpresa Marnoj, received 3 thousand 171 votes.
In Elbasan, Taulant Balla who is the most voted candidate in all of Albania has gone to 21 thousand 604 votes, followed by Saimir Hasalla with 11 thousand 518 votes. Hasalla is the second in Elbasan to break the quotient.
From PD Luciano Boçi has broken the quotient as he has 10 thousand 930 votes.
In Durrës, Edi Rama leads them with 11 thousand 945 votes, it will be seen if he will accept the mandate of this region, or of Vlora, to pave the way for another candidate. Only he has broken the quotient in Durrës, and after him comes Rrahman Rraja with 7 thousand 561 votes, followed by Lefter Koka with 7 thousand 345 votes and Jurgid Çyrbja with 5 thousand 875 votes.
Meanwhile, there are surprises from PD, as the 22-year-old candidate, Andia Ulliri, has more votes, 5 thousand 488 votes, followed by Ferdinant Xhaferraj with 4 thousand 577 votes, Agron Duka with 3 thousand 908 votes and then Edi Paloka with 3 thousand 509 votes.
In Tirana then, so far Fatmir Xhafaj has broken the lead with 14,194 votes, Balluku with 13,792, Ornaldo Rakipi with 13,744 votes, while Etjen Xhafaj and Arben Ahmetaj follow.
The most voted candidate from the Democratic Party is the mayor Lulzim Basha with 14 thousand and 48 votes, followed by Shehaj, Këlliçi and Grida Duma.
