The well known doctor Tritan Kalo declares that the AstraZeneca vaccine is as effective as Pfizer and considers the whole political debate a punishment for post-BREXIT Britain.

AstraZeneca has put into trouble many countries as a major debate is taking place over its safety and effectiveness in the population. Many countries (most of Europe) have suspended it as there have been several cases where vaccinated people have later shown side effects such as blood clots or thrombosis.

There was a big debate in Albania as well, until the confirmation of the authorities. The National Committee for Immunization and Vaccination has decided not to stop the vaccination process with AstraZeneca.

The doctor Tritan Kalo considers the whole political debate a punishment for post-BREXITE Britain. According to him, the AstraZeneca vaccine is as effective as Pfizer and four times cheaper.

"Firstly it is four times cheaper than Pfizer-Biontech, secondly it is stored like the other vaccines and not at -80 degrees like Pfizer-Biontech. Thirdly it is almost as effective as the Pfizer-Biontech vaccine. To sum up, it is simply a punishment for post-Brexit Britain. It is politics beyond the reason of the human needs," Kalo said.

The epidemiologist Alban Ylli, who became part of the Technical Committee of Experts, also described as a waste of time the decision of many European Union countries to suspend the AstraZeneca vaccine.
