DP Accuses Govt of Not Helping 200.000 Quake-Affected Albanians

Earthquake has damaged 200.000 Albanian citizens in 11 municipalities of the country and the government has not helped them, accused Saturday the Former MP of Democratic Party (DP) Jorida Tabaku.

In the Democrat’s opinion, Prime Minister Edi Rama’s administration has not taken any measure for the earthquake-affected because they have waited in order to take votes or do corruption.

However, Tabaku’s statements were motivated by the case of Bec Tusha, a disabled father of two children, who has has not had his house taken care of. The citizen in question has also complained that he has taken nothing by the authorities but empty promises.

“200.000 Albanians have been affected by the earthquake in 11 municipalities and the government has not taken even the smallest measure, because they have waited to either get votes or do corruption. Even for the earthquake they divide into left and right, even in misfortune.

They broadcast 3D projects on television and here people die for their bread and butter and have neither water nor electricity. It is unforgivable that so close to Tirana, we came for 1 hour and a half due to the unpaved road, and that should have been one of the greatest natural beauties, and they should have been coming for tourism, but it is left in forgetfulness", said the Democratic Former MP.
