Steering Committee of the Democratic Party (DP) has approved the candidates in the primaries for 18 municipalities of the country. 

The Commission for the Organization and Control of Electoral Operations has also made public the names. Through an announcement, the Democratic Party says that during these days it has reviewed all the incoming documentation, for the proposed or self-proposed candidates. 

"The Commission for the Organization and Control of Electoral Operations will continue to meet in the coming days to complete the documentation that has arrived and the proposed or self-proposed candidacies in the branches that remain," the announcement states.
