DP Leader Reveals Plan to Confront PM Rama

Former Prime Minister and the head of the Democratic Party (DP) Sali Berisha revealed the opposition's plan to confront Prime Edi Minister Rama. This Friday, during the weekly conference with journalists, Berisha emphasized that the only scenario is protest and if necessary there will be civil disobedience.

Berisha stated that Prime Minister Rama is emptying the Drin cascade, in order to put into operation harmful diesel generators for energy production.

He added that this will cause the price to rise, but that the opposition and the people will not allow it as they will flood the streets in massive protests.

"Edi Rama is emptying the dams in order to tell the Albanians that now the cost of energy is 390 ALL and I will increase the price. But I guarantee you that the people will pour everything on the streets and show him the place he deserves. Are you emptying the dams to put in these generators that you will get from Bangladesh? Because they are not power plants. That's why I'm here to stand in front of this thing.

The scenario is protest and, if necessary, civil disobedience. We have declared Edi Rama an enemy of the Albanians as he stole the vote of the Albanians and then robbed all the institutions in this country. Therefore, he cannot be accepted. We are in the conditions of a complete monism and we will come out at any price," Berisha said.
