DP Pushes for Arrest of PM's Secretary-General, Engjell Agaci
The Legal Expert of the Democratic Party (DP), Marash Logu, emphasized Wednesday that the inclusion of Alqi Bllako in the incinerators of Fier, Elbasan and Tirana is clear evidence that there are no three separate issues but a single affair involving the same public officials and private companies.
"Let us take the case of the MP Alqi Bllako, it was talked about what are his responsibilities in the incinerator of Fier, but there was no talk about the incinerator of Elbasan and Tirana. Elbasan, Tirana and Fieri are not separate issues, they are a single issue involving the same people. Mr. Bllaku's involvement is clear evidence that we are dealing with a single file. The partisanship of the issue not only can not help the truth but can hinder it," said Logu.
During his speech, Logu stressed that the SPAK investigations so far show the involvement in the affair of the incinerators of the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Ëngjëll Agaçi, who has not exercised the duty given to the law to check the legality of the acts presented for approval by the Council of Ministers.
"In the Council of Ministers, the Secretary-General, according to Law 9000 of 2003, has several specific tasks, among which is the control of the legality of those acts that are submitted for approval to the Council of Ministers. This task was held by Ëngjëll Agaçi and already SPAK has proved that he did not exercise the task assigned to him ", he added.
