Driver of the car that had an accident yesterday, July 25, on the Morinë-Kukës highway, died this Tuesday. 

Police informed that the 40-year-old I.M., driving a "Volkswagen" vehicle, lost control and collided with the traffic divider. 

Fortunately, the passenger, the victim's wife, A. M., 36 years old, does not risk losing her life. 

Following assertions, the materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Kuka Court of First Instance, for further action. 

"On 25.07.2022, on the Morinë-Kukës highway, in the village of Morinë, citizen I. M., driving a "Volkswagen" type vehicle, lost control over his direction and collided with the traffic divider. 

As a result, the driver of the vehicle, citizen I.M., 40 years old, resident of the village of Shtiqen, who died during transportation to the Trauma Hospital, Tirana, was seriously injured. 

His wife, citizen A. M., 36 years old, was also injured, who after receiving treatment at the Kukës hospital, left the apartment, out of danger to her life", said the police.
