Eiffel Tower Closed Due to Massive Protests

Violent protests in France, over the increase in the pension age, have brought the closure of the Eiffel Tower until further notice.

The tense situation on French roads for many days has caused the government to take all measures by putting the police on alert and closing some tourist spots to avoid incidents.

Now only its front is accessible to the few tourists who walk in the area. They were informed in advance about the decision made, saying that tourists and people who would like to visit it will not be allowed to enter.

Although a lot of time has passed, the local government does not give up on the decision to raise the pension age by two years, a bill presented by President Emmanuel Macron.

Since the statement of their president, the French have "occupied" the streets in protest. The situation has worsened until the use of violence and the response of the police to take the situation under control.

Despite the fact that they have not yet received an answer, they do not stop protesting the reform which they consider wrong.
