Elbasan, Client Beats Waiter to Death
Gazment Kurmaku, 50 years old, from the city of Elbasan, who was in a "clinical death" for five days at the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, passed away this Thursday evening.
But how did the event happen? Five days ago, on October 2, Gazment Kurmaku, who is the head of the service in a complex in Labinot on the outskirts of Elbasan towards the city of Librazhd, was shot with fists and hard objects by a client, who did not accept the fact that the table where he was sitting was reserved.
Erjon Llapushi had gone as a customer to the restaurant, but the 50-year-old who was on duty as chief waiter informed him that the table where he was sitting was reserved.
Llapushi objected and the debate escalated. According to the sources from the Elbasan police, who announced the case as an instant quarrel, Llapushi hit Gazment Kurmaku with fists and hard objects.
The 50-year-old hit with his head a piece of concrete ending up in coma. After first aid at the Elbasan hospital, the 50-year-old was transported to Tirana to "clinical death". Despite the efforts of doctors, he passed away tonight.
